THE RACE

Represent 247's First Official 5KM & 10KM Race

The event village will feature support from Red Bull, Cadence Grenade and Hyperice, with a coffee van on site for refreshments.

Friends and family are welcome to come along and spectate, soak up the atmosphere and support runners from the course and event village.

Start Information

The race begins at 9:00am, with arrival from 7:30am for check-in and warm-up.

5KM Entry – £30

10KM Entry – £40

Race Pack & Bib Collection

Race pack collection opens at 07:30 on the event day and will close promptly at 09:00, in line with the race start time. We recommend arriving early to avoid queues, as peak collection is expected around 08:30.

Proof of order is sufficient, as our team will have all entries in the system and can quickly look you up on arrival.

Meeting Point

Event village is situated next to Heaton Park boating lake. Follow the signage.

Bag drop

There will be an informal bag drop marquee within the event village for you to leave any belongings during the race. Please ensure your label is attached to your bag before dropping it off with our marshals.
Anything left within the bag drop is left at your own risk.

Whats the terrain like?
The course is all on the tarmac paths within the park.
Wheelchair / Pram Friendly?
We welcome buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Please be aware that this is an undulating and tough course to complete with a buggy or as a wheelchair athlete but we if you are up for the challenge we will be there to cheer you on!
Are Dogs Allowed?
It is not permitted to run with a dog at this event however spectators are welcome to have their dog within the event village we simply ask they be kept on a lead at all times.
Is there a bag drop?
