What fabrics does Represent use for its summer pieces?
The summer range leans on cotton linen blends, cotton viscose and hemp slub jerseys, alongside lightweight cotton tees. These breathe in the heat and keep their shape, while the heavier denim and shirting are washed down so they sit softer and lighter than their winter counterparts.
Why do the pieces look faded or distressed?
By design. Garment washing, bleach-spray finishes and hand-distressing give each piece a worn-in, vintage feel straight away. On some tees, metal claw studs continue to distress the fabric as you wear it, so the piece develops with age rather than wearing out.
Are these pieces only good for summer?
